I think that the ribbon detail down the seam of the heel is a nice touch. It tidies up the join, which wasn't perfect as card is tricky to fold down a curve. I've decided to fasten it onto a a black card base as this will make it easier to wrap in cellophane. I'm going to design a small label to tie on to wrapping.
I decided to remake the shoe. I wasn't totally happy with the finish or the card stock I had used. I went to a craft shop and purchased some nice card and tools to help me crease the card easier. I assembled it in exactly the same way as previously and it was still really fiddly! I've still added the ribbon to the heel seam as I really like the effect. I also added a small bow to the front, which is really sweet.
I created the label by printing the Christain Louboutin logo on to some pearlescent silver card. I then cut carefully around it and attached it with some matching ribbon. I think it has a classy, not to over-the-top, effect.

I haven't been able to buy any cellophane from anywhere, all the craft shops I've been to didn't have any so I'm going to have to leave my packaging as it is. Cellophane could have made it difficult to see the product so the fact that I couldn't get any might not be a bad thing.
