I wanted something unique for my shoe USB stick and thought about continuing with the shoe theme. A shoe box was the obvious choice, but I didn't want to use that because (as I said) it was obvious. I wanted a luxury feel to the item so I considered a black velvet pouch, but this idea didn't really appeal to me as it isn't something that can be easily displayed. I then did a bit of research via Google - I searched for shoe packaging and by following a series of links I came across this website:
I printed out the free template at a reduced size and experimented using paper.
It was quite fiddly to assemble but I think it will be a bit easier when I make it out of card as it is more rigid. I am very pleased with the result but think I will make it a little larger when I make the final product.I am considering adding some embellishments to enhance the finish. I might have the USB stick on a bed of tissue paper and wrap the whole thing up in clear cellophane tied off with a ribbon.
